After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, Frances continued on to earn her Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin. In her professional career, she worked for IBM in a marketing capacity for 10 years, where she was responsible for numerous classroom presentations.

 

In 2002, Frances joined the team at Jill Broder's Tutoring Center, where her approach as an educator is to be very interactive with her students. She emphasizes each student's ability to mentally organize academic material in a logical manner, facilitating recall and building on basic facts to understand and assimilate high level material. As a tutor, she specializes in math and science, especially the honors levels, including Algebra 2, Pre-calculus, Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, and math preparation for the SAT, ACT, and SAT II.
